In college, I was once derogatorily accused of being in love with being in love, and now I embrace that charge wholeheartedly because I firmly believe that love can heal almost all emotional wounds if it is administered safely and authentically.

Before entering college, I was talked out of becoming a therapist for “practical reasons,” but after earning a degree in finance and working in the corporate world for two decades, I decided to finally pursue my true passion.

Growing Together Counseling is the culmination of a circuitous career that provided many insights into human nature, an education in counseling that taught me how to hear and care for those who are struggling, and a lifelong curiosity about the healing power of caring and compassionate moments.
